Welcome to the website dedicated to Warne's Wayside and Woodland Series of books, which as most serious Observer's Book collectors will no doubt be aware of, preceded and helped to spawn the Observer's Books. With the launch of Observer's Book number 100 in Spring of this year, there will surely be a surge in interest in these beautiful and comprehensive books which first appeared in the very late 1800's and continued through to the 1980's. This site has only just been started and will continue to develop, hopefully with the help of other collectors submitting scans of jacket variations....this would be greatly appreciated!
